Eurovision, Cockermouth and Photos
The last week, I've made some new contacts who are fans of the Eurovision, see there are more than a few of us around! Hopefully they will become regular ESC contacts. Always nice to share a fascination for something obscure.
This weekend has been fantastic. Two days off and two amazing days of relaxing : Saturday was spent in Cockermouth, Lovely Georgian town in West Cumbria including a second visit to Wordsworths House - amazing what the National Trust have done over the last few years recreating the house as it was in the late 1700's. We also managed to have a picnic near the sea at one of my favourite haunts as a kid at Allonby.
Sunday was spent at Sunderland Point in Lancs and doing the back garden... not a bad way to spend timeoff... really.
Have updated my photo pages to include the best of our trip to Kent and also a new page about the old Middeton Towers Holiday Camp near Morecambe.
