Lighthouses, Then Jerico and Southend Pier

Well, after many years of dreaming of a coast holiday with a difference, we have booked a lighthouse in Norfolk for next year. Cant wait to get there :-) But Christmas comes first :-)))

While I was creating backup MP3s of my CD collection I came across one of my all time favourite CDs from the late 80's. Then Jerico's 'Big area' . Fantastic album, always will be. My favourite track being 'Reeling' and 'Sugarbox'. I came across a website about the band from their heyday.

Such a shame that yet another Victorian pier has been devastated by fire. Southend pier, the largest in the UK, has had a substanial section gutted, hopefully it will be rebuilt. Would be a shame if it isn't.
