Just finished watching the new Doctor Who - fantastic stuff, Christopher Eccleston is a great new Doctor in the Tom Baker mould - eccentric and fun. Billie Piper was excellent too - can't wait for the rest of the series.

Kent trip for my 32nd Birthday

We came back from Kent on Saturday 19th March after 7 wonderful days in one of Britain's most amazing counties. Kent has Oasthouses, motorways, bustling towns and serene rural communities... it has it all. We loved it so much. See the following page for a full run down of the places we visited and the highlights and one lowlight!

MYMU - Javine's done it!

Whey hey! Finally, we have a song worthy of representing the UK at Eurovision again. It's a god few years since we had a superb performer on the Eurovision stage and finally at the 50th contest we have the amazing singer/songwriter Javine. She was most certainly the performer of the night and she can definitely sing live! Good luck in Kiev. :-)

Making your mind up! and Kent

Only one more day til we know the fate of a nation.. OK so it's the UK final for Eurovision but it's important to me! Can't wait to see the 5 acts up against each other for the honour of singing for the UK in the 50th contest in Kiev. Katie Price seems to be the favourite but my personl favourite for the final is the fantastic Javine. Fingers crossed for her tomorrow. Before we see who wins I have a Saturday at work. but after that 5 more days til we off to sunny Kent.... sunny and not so much snow hopefully. The forecast seems to suggest that it's getting warmer down there so we hope to get there and spend a full week in that beautiful area of the country... housesitter alert!!!

Had a lovely day off today, no visits anywhere particular but a nice drive to Blackpool and a brief wander around a supermarket
