Snow, new job and Christmas is coming

Where is the snow in South Cumbria?!?!? We usually get some near Windermere and on the fells but not a flake can be seen from our house - very dissapointing after the hype... hopefully soon we will be lucky enough to get some of the white stuff... and then moan the whole time it is here LOL
I start my new jobs on Monday, can't wait, it will be a challenge!
Christmas is less than 30 days away now and in celebration the website will get it's festive overhaul... as soon as we have installed a new curtain in the hall.... what joy.
Junior Eurovision tonight, that should be good for a cringe worthy laugh or three and a bottle of something will make it even more interesting!

Our Meggie

Our beloved dalmation Meggie was put to sleep on Nov 16th after a short illness and after almost 12 years devotion and companionship. She was am amazing dog who was a pleasure to live with - her big brown eyes will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace old girl.

Online photo album, cold/flu and websites

After many months without updating the photo gallery I thought an online gallery would make more sense so from 2005 onwards i'm using the very versatile myphotoalbum.com.
You will find some of the 2005 gallery online at http://garyshield.myphotoalbum.com
Lots more to upload...

Off work today, not ill, I'm working tomorrow (Sat) but I've got cold, Mart's got cold and so has the dog. Benylin all round then!

As for websites - have found some great personal sites this week but my favourite has to be tribe.net - a vast amount of online communities with people from all over the world.
The London tribe can be found at http://london.tribe.net/local?r=10411

Need some more Benylin, bye for now.
